aromatherapy & I

Aromatherapy has been around me from a young age. My mother has always used complementary therapies like homeopathy and aromatherapy along with my aunt who is an aromatherapist for animals (primarily working with horses based in West Wales). From my late teens I struggled with anxiety, stomach issues and episodes of grief. Essential oils provided a way for me to be able to manage symptoms, stress and anxiety so that I could continue to live life and help relieve the imbalances of my body and mind. Knowing how much aromatherapy has helped me over the years, I would like to help other people discover essential oils & their healing capacity and to share how useful they are in every day life.

I received my diploma for Clinical Aromatherapy and Therapeutic Massage from The Institute of Traditional Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy at the beginning of 2020. I am also qualified in Natural Rejuvenation Facial Massage (Natural Facelift). Not only is this a fantastic treatment to help people with their confidence and self esteem but it is a fantastic treatment for relaxation. During my studies, I was enchanted by how the massage sent me to a place of transcendence and pure relaxation. I am also a member of The International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA).

My background

Born, raised and based in North London, I studied film and history at university following a passion for capturing unique stories. I flipped that on its head and decided to follow another passion - my love for scent. I began working with niche fragrance brands in 2017 where I worked closely with the creative directors. My passion and love for scent developed over time and I soon realised it was the healing quality of oils (as well as their beautiful fragrance) and their outstanding ability to help me and others that activated my interest to train as an aromatherapist.

I currently have my own studio in Kentish Town, North London where I host treatments and events for clients. For more information on availability for in person treatments or upcoming workshops, please do get in touch!
